Clementina Duarte studied design in Paris, London and Helsinki. She received awards for Best Jewelry Design at the 11 th Biennial of Art in São Paulo, and at the 1 st Brazilian Design Biennial. Acknowledged as one of the world's foremost jewelry designers, by International Jeweler Magazine, her jewels have been exhibited at art galleries, museums and renowned jewelers, and have received accolades in the principal cities of Europe and of the United States. Jewelry and pieces by Clementina Duarte are customarily presented by the Brazilian Government as gifts to first-ladies and other visiting dignitaries.
